COMMON QUESTIONS
• Do I need a personal trainer?
If the trainer is a good one, most definitely YES.
A good trainer can maximize your results in a shorter period of time. They can take the guesswork out of which exercises, how much, how long and how often.
Most importantly, they can increase your energy and stamina, improve the integrity of your joints and the tissue surrounding them, protect you from injury, decrease the possibility of disease and increase your self esteem.
• Is there any reason why I should not train?
No matter your fitness level, you can participate.
However, special cases may require a physician's clearance. We do ask that you make us aware of any conditions that might affect your training. Your safety is first and foremost at Trainer4u2.
• I feel uncomfortable when training in front of others. Will you meet with me privately?
Absolutely! Our private training studio in the North West area is 2500 square feet including solar heated pool.
Our type clientele is looking to make a change with their life; if you have been in too many gyms with no results, tired of waiting for machines, dirty gyms, then our studio is just the place for you! I am more than happy to bring all the equipment you will need into the privacy of your own home.
• How long will it take to see results?
It all depends on the individual and how committed one is to his or her personal exercise program.
You will begin to notice some effects of training almost right away, such as improved mood and energy levels.
As for weight loss, the average person will lose about a pound of body fat per week, which will reflect a change in body composition (lean tissue vs. fat mass), not necessarily a change in weight.
There are individual factors as well, and when your trainer designs your program, you can rest assured that he or she will take all of those things into consideration and help you to set realistic goals and maximize your results.
• What should I expect when I first meet with my trainer?
We like to start all of our programs with a fitness assessment so that your trainer can determine where you are now and where you want to be. Although its not required, we also advise that you seek clearance from a physician before starting any exercise program.
Your trainer will begin by asking you some general questions in order to get an idea of your unique goals and challenges. Then he or she will take some measurements that will serve as a reference point, enabling you to track your progress throughout your program. These measurements include weight, body fat, blood pressure, body circumference (such as waist, hips, biceps, etc.), upper body strength, and abdominal strength.
Additional tests and measurements may be taken depending on the client. Knowing these things will help your trainer to design the best possible program for achieving your goals.
